Full renovations vary hugely by scope, so a walkthrough and a proper spec are the only way to get close to an exact figure.
How long does a full renovation take? +
It depends entirely on scope — a full flat renovation is often 6–12 weeks, while a larger house with structural work can run several months. You'll get a realistic timeline as part of the planning stage.
Do I need to move out during a full renovation? +
For anything beyond a light refresh, yes — most full renovations involve multiple rooms without water, power or access at once, so moving out (or staying with family, or short-term rental) is usually part of the plan.
Will you manage building control and planning where needed? +
Yes — structural work, load-bearing wall removal and anything else requiring building control sign-off is planned in from the start and coordinated alongside the rest of the schedule.
Do I deal with separate tradespeople, or one point of contact? +
One point of contact throughout. Vetted trades are brought in and sequenced as needed, but you get one project manager keeping everyone on the same page, not a list of subcontractors to chase yourself.
